Made majorly popular by the late Yves Saint Laurent through his inspiration and love for Morocco, the Saharienne jacket has become a fashion classic that even though we don’t get to see taking over street style in the present days, it is still a piece that won’t go out of style.

And as primarily a minimalist in my own personal style, and a die-hard fan of vintage and classic clothing pieces that could make an outfit special no matter how simple the look could be, I fished this beauty of a saharienne jacket from my aunt’s old wardrobe (while saving some coins at the same time), and wanted to immediately make it my own. In that sense, I paired it with some comfortable cropped jeans and my favourite sneakers of the moment, and I believe the result turned out to be not so bad, but dare-I say pretty casually stylish.
