Some of you might have heard about the sarouel pants (also called “harem pants”), or you might even own a pair or two. However, the ones that I’m wearing today are a bit different from the ones you might find in clothing outlets or even bazaars. And the reason is because they are men’s pants, and are generally worn underneath djellabas or so.
I believe these ones were brought from the KSA by my grandfather, and I found them so comfy that I snagged a pair for myself. Not so surprising, since by now you should know that I don’t care what gender an item of clothing was made for, as long as I like it and feel comfortable in it.
Therefore, in order not to look too underdressed or sloppy in the sarouel pants, I chose to dress them up a bit with a blazer, over a v-neck t-shirt, and a pair of white sneakers.
