I have resisted sharing a look like this one with you guys, for so long.
I’m obsessed with wrapping a good old plaid shirt around my waist. Not that I’m trying to hide my curves; which I do have, but I just see it as a sort of accessorizing in an outfit. Or maybe it is just a way for me to express my nostalgia for the 90’s style.
Anyways, today’s look isn’t just about the plaid, but also about a little added pop of color through a beautiful Berber or Amazigh scarf. Known for their flashy colours, these scarves are usually worn in Amazigh villages for special occasions, especially weddings. And the most popular ones are usually in red and green, but the one I’m wearing today is a little bit more modernised, and that not only for its yellow colour but mostly because it has those tangling metal circles, which are not so common in Amazigh scarves.
So, with such imposing details as the plaid shirt and the Amazigh scarf, the rest of the look is pretty simple. A pair of jeans, an almost matching blue top, nude sandals, and a faux leather jacket for some much needed layering.
