Yes, you read the title right. Today’s post is all about, the Moroccan man purse.

More of a cross-body bag, this Moroccan culture staple is generally seen on men in the country side especially in the South of Morocco, and that aside from a few exceptions mainly in Marrakech, where it is mostly worn with a djellaba or gandoura.

Named “Shekkara” in Arabic and “Ajbir” in Amazigh, I personally was glad to find this Moroccan man purse to be one great “accent” clutch. Thanks to its removable handle, its amazing embroideries, and its convenient big size, this unique accessory could easily be one unconventional competition for the “envelope clutch”.

And to go with today’s main item, I went with simple all black outfit. Made of; the on-trend culottes, a simple turtleneck, a leather jacket, and a pair of loafers, due to its simplicity this look can go from a day at the office, to an evening out outfit.
