As much fun as it may look, mixing prints is one tricky task that very few can master, and topping them all is one of my favourite style icons; Olivia Palermo.

Therefore, whenever I personally attempt mixing prints I try to be subtle about it, and use sort of light patterns. And that because I do believe that this styling technique is not something that comes easy to everyone, and in case it goes wrong it can look real bad.

So, in today’s outfit I brought together a light grey and white striped shirt, and culottes that have a kind of ethnic pattern, all for a pretty much casual look, that I think doesn’t need any more explaining than this. Except maybe that I am happy I photographed the look at the souk (bazaar) today, and I am very pleased to have such a lively background for a mixing prints’ outfit.
