I would describe this one as; Greek Goddess meets Moroccan vintage fashion meets 70’s Yves Saint Laurent meets an enchanting creature. This sounds pretty complicated, right? So, let us break it for you.
In a recent editorial from W Magazine Korea that the Diane Von Furstenberg team shared on their official Instagram account, we can see a model posing in two pieces from the illustrious fashion brand’s Spring Summer 2016 collection. Put together, just the same way the look walked down the runway a few months ago (photo below); the DVF Virgo embroidered tulle goddess top and the DVF Davin embroidered tulle goddess pant looked magical, and to be extremely honest caught our eye because of the whole outfit’s similarity to a traditional two-piece Moroccan kaftan (a.k.a. Takchita).
Yet, regardless of the fact that this photo hit home for me (Souad El Mghari) personally, I have to add that I just found it to be a heavenly combination of the quintessential DVF femininity and the High-fashion quality of a W Magazine.
